Khama Billiat is THE FINEST Zimbabwean footballer of THE MOMENT no doubt about that! DECEMBER 2016 AND JANUARY 2017 WILL DEFINE HIS CAREER AND decide whether He becomes the greatest footballer ever to come out of Zimbabwe.

    Billiat’s outstanding form for the Zimbabwe national soccer team ‘Warriors’ and his South African club Mamelodi Sundowns has propelled both to dizzy heights with Sundowns qualifying for the prestigious Fifa Club World Cup set for December 2016 while Zimbabwe has qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations 2017 set for January 2017 in Gabon .

    Khama contributed greatly to the warriors cause and was inspirational managing to score 3 goals out of the six matches played. Billiat’s absence was felt in the warriors last game against Guinea, a match the warriors lost by a goal to nil. Despite the losing to Gabon, Zimbabwe won the group with 11 points and booked a place for the continent’s biggest tournament.
    Billiat also led Mamelodi Sundowns in the African safari in which the Brazilians emerged winners of African Champions League. He scored 3 goals and made 2 assists out of the 7 matches played and his brilliance was not easy to contain. The 26-year-old Zimbabwean attacker received a hail of appreciation from his coach Pitso Mesimane who titled him the current best African player.

    Billiat was named the best opponent by former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand and his legendary coach Sir Alex Ferguson when they played against Ajax Cape town in South Africa in their 2013/14 pre-season.
    The midfielder has a mountain to climb in the Club International World Cup and the African Cup of Nations in December 2016 and January 2017 respectively where he is going to meet the best in the world.
    In the 2015/16 season Billiat was named South African  Premier Soccer League player of the season, player of players, midfielder of the year and KICKOFF player of the year awards. He was also nominated among African players of the year award and was among the favourites on African Footballer of the year who ply their trade in Africa.
    Billiat’s form has seen some European Clubs calling for his signature over the January window transfer.
